In June 2025, an art exhibition was held at Cairo House as part of the celebration of World Environment Day. Cairo House is a cultural venue affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, and the event took place under the patronage of the Ministry and dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment at the time.
The celebration was hosted inside the Cairo House building as part of the official environmental activities marking the national observance of World Environment Day. Alongside the main celebration a visual art exhibition was organized focusing on the theme of recycling and sustainability.
The exhibition featured the participation of around thirty five visual artists who presented artworks inspired by recycling environmental responsibility and the relationship between art and ecological awareness. Through different visual approaches the artists highlighted how creative expression can contribute to environmental dialogue and public awareness.
This exhibition emphasized the role of visual art as an effective tool in communicating environmental values. By integrating art with sustainability themes the event created a meaningful cultural space that connected creativity with environmental responsibility reinforcing the importance of art in supporting social and environmental causes.
