Lamasat’s Participation in the Carthage Arts Days Festival - May 2023
In May 2023, Lamasat participated in the Journées de Carthage des Arts in Tunis, one of the most prominent and influential art festivals in the Arab region and Africa. This participation marked an important milestone in Lamasat’s journey of cultural representation and artistic dialogue across borders.
Lamasat took part with a curated collection of visual artworks by 23 leading visual artists from Egypt and the Arab world, presenting diverse artistic styles, perspectives, and contemporary expressions. The artists involved are among the most respected names on the regional art scene, making the participation both artistically significant and culturally impactful.
The Carthage Arts Days Festival holds a unique position as a platform that brings together artists, curators, critics, and cultural institutions from across the region. For Lamasat, participating in Tunisia carried a deeper meaning.
